When you can't take pictures outside...

... you can use what is inside. This cyclamen lent a spot of life to the window sill when there was little of that outside.

I have a false bamboo in a nice straight glass vase with elegant marbles in the bottom holding the plant and its roots. What a nice thing it is to see on a cold day like today is. Mine is all green like bamboo but I like the red cyclamen.

Done beautifully. I am impressed and ever so grateful to see something so colorful on a dreary winter day. Thank you.

Beautiful, Rune! Central Canada is close to monochromatic now - almost like black and white photo most of the time so it's a treat to see some red.

And how fortunate to have something so lovely to look at inside on a cold and dreary day! A reminder of days to come outside! Actually, I am waiting for the snow to fly at lower elevations!!!!!!! We have had new snow in mountains for weeks now.

Simple majesty and a gift for winter's chill.
