The sun is fighting the snow in Sky Watch

The winter is approaching and with that comes the snow, but the sun doesn't give in without a fight.

Ja du får ta deg en tur over fjellene å ta noe sunsets her i Drammen :)

Flott.

the round swirls in the clouds remind me of van gogh's starry night picture

Fantastic contrast between the hazy top and the sharp bottom in the photo. Lovely.

That is so dramatic..so glad the sun keeps the snow at bay for a little longer.

Flott bilde:)

Rune, I really like these first snows! We don't have them here in South Texas but last year we were in Nebraska for the snow.
Happy SkyWatching!

Hi Rune! Wondeful shot: the fight between light and darkness. Quite appropriate these days...
Meanwhile Blogtrotter is now at the Bardo Museum; some of the best Roman mosaics in the world! Enjoy and have a great weekend!

Interesting catch but snow doesn't mean no sunshine. I have known many winter days with tons of snow and the sun shining.

Beautiful ethereal sun peeking through the clouds.

Growing up in Alberta through those long cold winters there was sunshine almost every day.

this is amazing. well done

Hi hi.

Ha ei koselig advents-helg:)
