We are not alone in watching the sky. For some it is part of their duty.

Veldig fint bildet, Rune:)

Takk for "røde vann".

Artig bilde.

Awesome photograph... he seems so tiny in size way up there or is he a lot bigger that the photo shows?

Nice shot on this one. I like the idea of adding something to something to get something else.

Great shot of one of England's heroes, together with cloudy skies of London! I imagine the Lord Nelson saw some mighty fine skies (and seas) before they put on that pedestal!

poor nelson - the way you photographed him, he looks so insignificant!

Rune,
Re your question on my blog:
Many geese are still around my area but will leave soon. A few stay all winter on the north side of Lake Ontario if they're lucky enough to find some warm water that never freezes, like next to a plant generating electricity.

great picture! the framing is awsome!

Thanks for your comment on my sky Watch. That frame over our deck is a pergola. We built it to provide a little decoration and a place to hang plants. For 2 other views, see my post of June 6.

Hi Rune! Where did you find Napoleon? ;)
Incredible red water, but your night view just kills me... some day I'll be able to catch some night pictures too...
Meanwhile, Blogtrotter just said goodbye to Mykonos 2007!! It shows the famous sunset scene at Little Venice, and the Pelican mascot of the island… ;)
Hope you enjoy, comment and have a great weekend!

What would Nelson have thought about the pigeons landing on his head and leaving deposits.

And which Napoleonic-era officer would that monument be celebrating? (Guessing based on the hat and uniform that they are from the 18th or early 19th century...)

Very good that blue sky and the statue of... Napoleon??

Thank you for your visit to my skywatch post. Nelson it is! He confused me a bit because he puts one of his hands under his jacket. And the hat is the same. Now I remember that he had only one hand!
