A fly in the autumn

Even though the autumn is fast approaching, some remnants of the summer can still be found.

I found this fly close by our cottage..

Hi Rune! After a short break but a long absence, I’m finally back to the blogosphere and found some time to enjoy your excellent blog…
Amazing picture, though flies are not my favourites... ;)
So, it seems you're enjoying St. James Park recently; great shot!
And I don't think you were lacking Inspiration when you took the lovely pictures of the ships in the fjord!!
Many thanks for your comments on Blogtrotter, while I was off. It’s now still in Kos on the way to Crete! Hope you enjoy and wish you a great weekend and a nice week ahead!

I like how the light and shadows highlight the photo.

Very true of autumn, the fly is so lovely! So much detail. What a shame it is a pest!

We have more flies now than in the summer. The only thing I like about them is that people like you get incredible pictures of them.
