T is for Tunnel in ABC Wednesday (or Tuesday?)

According to Wikipedia, A tunnel is an underground passage way. Since we have quite a lot of mountains and hills around here, we have also quite a lot of tunnels (I drive through six of them going to work). They come in all kinds and looks more or less the same from outside.

That is why I went inside and tried to look out...

PS For more about ABC Wednesday, please visit Mrs. Nesbitt's Place. It is well worth the effort.

Heisann.

Interesting looking tunnel. It looks like it is lined with corrugated iron.

I live amidst mountains, too, and actually go through a tunnel UNDER the Fraser River to get to the next city. Great perspective! :)

Wonderful and fantastic tunnel-shot, Rune:) Just no I wish I had a tunnel I could sit and have some refrigeration in. It's to warm to get some sleep.

a nice tunnel - don't mind them if they are not TOO long.

My T posts won't go live till 6am BST.

Tunnel is a good choice. Needless to say, we don't have any in Florida (maybe in west Florida where there are a few 200-300 ft hills?).

It's a perfect place to take a picture, isn't it? As long as there is no traffic at themoment.

My T takes us--you guessed it, to the mountains--Mt. Rainier.

Super shot for your ABC Wednesday T post. The numbers of tunnels you see daily reminds me of the number of bridges that I see in Portland.

Perfect choice for "T"-Wednesday (or is it Tuesday?...)
"Louis" posts his at 15:01 California time, which is 00:01 Paris time because his other blogs are written as if he were still living in Paris. Thus "Louis's" Wednesday post was up most of Tuesday in the U.S....

That's a nice photo - and the only tunnel I've seen!

Wow, 6 tunnels to go to work. I would say that's a lot of tubes to go through. Great shot from inside looking out.

There is a light at the end of your tunnel, Rune. Like that lovely scene you have framed by the tunnel! Good choice for the T.

Gratulerer! :)
Har stått der selv ett par ganger. Ser på det som en stor ære. ;)))
