It Started out as a Sense of Spring...

...but ended up as Summer in the City!

Hi Rune, looks like we are the early birds today.
Nice angle you have with your post, but dont forget the Sheep, who seemed to be enjoying the spring as well

Tusen takk for at du gjorde meg oppmerksom på min S-feil. No er den forandret til et annet ord, men like farlig uansett;)

Cute! We're still waiting for spring to STAY. Come and visit! :D

Herlige bilder, og en herlig tid dette. Gå barbeint, kjenne lukten av nyslått gress.... Ta en tur på byen og få høre gatemusikanter, en pause på en fortauskafe, kan det bli bedre?

Ha en fin onsdag.

Beautiful photos. The manikins are so amusing as a backdrop to the brass chorale. Thanks for the Vivaldi. I wonder what they're playing there on the street?

Spring and summer, very apt and clever choices.

Miss_Yves said...

Sympathic choices !
In France, the first day of summer, (in the evening and all the night) we have the feast of Music: bands and choirs of all styles play or sing in the streets, pubs (cafés, bistrots), churches ...It'wondeful !

Love the sheep photo. Makes me want to go take a nap.

RuneE - "Louis" thanks you for your comment at his "S"- post and for the information about the losses the Norwegian commercial marine suffered in World War II, thanks to the Nazis. Norway suffered terribly at the hands of the Nazis - "Louis" knows that at the end of the war Germany still had many, many troops (200,000?) there.

Anemone said...

Flotte bilder.

Great S. Liked the one with the sheeps best. have a good ABC-wednesday.

Hyde DP said...

Thought it was S for sheep at first. Must be nice at the top of Ulriken now.

quinttarantino said...

Great S Photos!

Louis la Vache said...

Rune - "Louis" thanks you for the update on the number of Nazi soldiers still in Norway at the end of the war. Indeed there was a danger they would have tried to make a 'last stand' there. Churchill, for one, was quite concerned about it.

"Louis" really likes to read World War II history. You can see many of his posts about that cataclysm here.

these are cool pictures. There are so many bands ... street-side bands in Chicago as well. They are not bands, but just singers (individuals showing their talent with instruments)

Love your theme! The sheep look so cuddly and the band rocks! Reminds me of our summer in the park concerts! I am really late so you might not see this. I hope you do and come to visit mine. I think I am the last one signed up.

Ah, a brass quintet playing outdoors with wind trying to blow your music from your stand and nobody paying you any attention... been there, done that! :)
