My first daffodil of the year

The spring has stopped around here, and we have had a return of bad weather. "Everyone" else on the net are posting pictures of their daffodils - and I have none! So I have to resorted to a bit of "fake". I found these mini-daffodils in an urn outside the Aquarium in Bergen, and they will have to do for now.

It's a start, isn't it?

Great capture of the droplet of water. Beautiful picture.

It's still beautiful and the fact that they can survive outside in the urn means it's warm outside, they wouldn't survive outside here quite yet... it's a beautiful picture!

My first photos were of greenhouse mini daffodils also. They were planted in a window box at a restaurant here. I had to wait another week for the regular yellow daffodils and this week, I found the white ones. Crocus have been around for a month now. If we can't have more snow like others are getting (and don't appreciate) then I say, give me spring and its beauty!

I wish for you many daffodils SOON!

I really love this photo. I like the way you captured the droplets of water. I know the feeling of wishing spring would come. Stop by and check our my photos of winter and the wait for spring if you get a chance.
