Launching of a Sky Watch Friday Rocket?

Are we witnessing the launching of the first Sky Watch Friday satellite?

I am afraid not. It just the TV-tower on Mount Ulriken, the highest mountain surrounding Bergen, that has been caught between wisps of fog and a sinking sun.

A pity...

PS I do not have another Sky Watch Friday picture on my Norwegian Blog. However, we are testing a new theme about "Building Bridges" if you want to have a look. The text is (for now) mostly in Norwegian, but the bridge is British...

At first glance that surely does look like a rocket... I was like, "WHOA! What do we have here!?"... until I looked a little harder and realized... haha... wonderful photo... optical illusion... I very much enjoyed this photo!! Very well done!

Wow, you really fooled me! What a great shot! I'm not so sure I understand about the bridges but I will keep watching and see what everyone does.
I looked at your other blog and I love that stone bridge.

Ulriken! Fantastisk!

This is an example of the importance always carrying a camera. I prefer my SLR, but for obvious reasons I cannot always have it with me. This picture was taken by a small compact camera tthat I always carry in my belt. And when? While crossing the parking lot from my office to my car...

If you didn't explain, I would've thought it was a rocket launch. I'll be waiting for your UFO photo on next week's Sky Watch.
