Winter in "boat-land"

Norway is a country of boat-lovers, but for most people boating is not very popular when the temperature creeps below 0 degrees C. I can understand why when I look at these two. NB! This is not snow - just frost.

Thanks for the link to the manhole cover. It was very unique.

Det er mangt som går i dvale om vinteren her i Noreg. Ikkje rart det er så viktig for oss med fine somrar.

Ha ein fin kveld og god onsdag :)

The street I live on has marinas where large sailing ships and speed boats are dry docked for the winter.

This is a wonderful frosty shot... I can understand why boating would not be popular during sub-zero temps, the wind chill would be very cold.
