You might feel that I am obsessed by leaves and autumn. Maybe I am, but so what? There are worse things in lives than autumn leaves. This one I caught with the sun behind it, showing the fine structure of the wilting leaf very well.
I am quite satisfied with the picture myself, but I might be a bit biased...

I could not resist taking a picture of this lamp while out for a stroll today. Not so much for the lamp itself - this kind of design can be found everywhere - but the way it stood out against the clear, blue September sky. Who said it always rains here?

At the moment Norway are receiving the first official visit of a Russian submarine (Yaroslav). No wonder I ran out on the terrace when I saw one passing by. But, alas, it was "only" a Norwegian one - S 300 KNM Ula. We have six of these vessels, known as "The Ula class".
It may be smaller than the Russian one, but it's the one we have.

My last post dealt with "artificial" autumn colours. In this one we will look at some real ones.
I found his colourful fern by the side of an old country road, not far from where we have a small week-end cottage. I leaves no doubt about the time of year.
We have been blessed with quite a bit of rain lately. No danger of any "Greek fires" here. But puddles of rain make excellent mirrors and have been used as such extensively by both amateurs and professionals. So also here.
