Euphorbia pulcherrima

Christmas is closing in and some decoration is in order. We are fond of poinsettias, and especially the "white" varieties. The local flower shop gave us a particular large and fine one this year. So large that it was difficult to get proper pictures, so I am posting two - one on the floor and one on a table.

Only after having taken the pictures did I discover that something else had followed us in with the flower...

The flower is beautiful! I like the white ones too!

Is that a little elf on your flower??

Kerri said an elf I was thinking it was a little "ho ho ho" but it seems to have no face.

Dot: Look a bit closer (it can be enlarged), and you will at least see a large nose!

Hi Runee
Lovely photos and the white is a nice change from the more traditional red.
