It's Sky Watch Friday again!

It might be understandable after last Friday 's posting that you thought that I only took pictures of lamps at dawn. I do indeed have more of them, but I promise you that this will be the last one - for a while. I may be having a minimalistic streak at the moment.

We had a bit of cold earlier this week, and I was fascinated by the icicles at the bottom of two of the lamps. I had hoped for a better reflection in them, but one can't have everything.

If you prefer pictures of another kind, please look at my other blog.

Have a nice week-end!

Wonderful. Another reminder that the light we create is small compared to the first light!

I haven't had so much praise for any of my pictures for quite a while. It's quite going to my head.

Thank you all!

Oh I do like this a lot! And I never tire of seeing your lamps! I think it is neat that we can have "regular" things that give us so much delight!!

Wonderful Skywatch Post!

Thank you!

I'll have to dig up some more lamps for a later session, then.

Hey, don't apologise for the lamp posts, they are great! This one in particular, with the icicles, very cool (in more ways than one!)I also tend to include lamp posts in a lot of my photos, they are so much a part of the landscape around here that they are almost becoming a signature element of my photography, so maybe I am biased!

Well, maybe we will find one sooner then I expected.

This is indeed a beautiful lamp!
