"Fram" and "Lyngen"

The most famous modern ships in Norway must be "Hurtigruten" / The Norwegian Coastal Voyage. They sail primarily between Bergen and Kirkenes, but have during the latter years extended their activities to cruises to such exotic places and Antarctica and Greenland. Now they have just built a new ship called appropriately "Fram" (not an unknown name in Norway or elsewhere...). It is scheduled to be used only for cruises in theses areas, but is designed more or less like a modern ship belonging to "Hurtigruten".

In this picture it is seen meeting one of the traditional ships from the same company, "Lyngen", beneath "Askøybroen" (The Askøy bridge) outside Bergen.
