Christmas is getting close. Everyone around is spending money as fast (or faster) than they are coming in on gifts for people who most likely have more than they need already. But not everyone can do that, and not everyone may have someone that can give them the parcels they should have had. In Bergen (as in no doubt many other places) there is a tradition that the Salvation Army has a Christmas tree where you can place Christmas-gifts for those who for various reasons will not receive one. What is under the tree shown here is what has been placed there morning and noon. It will be "filled" by evening.
